WHAT TO EXPECT
What you can expect from counselling with me

MY APPROACH
I believe that you are the expert in your own life.
As a person-centred counsellor, my role is to walk alongside you, offering understanding, curiosity and compassion as you explore what feels important.

Sessions are led by you. There's no advice giving or fixing, just a safe, non-judgemental space to help you make sense of your experiences and move towards greater self understanding.
HOW I WORK
WHERE, HOW & WHAT I CAN HELP WITH
I offer counselling in the following ways:
- Online via Zoom or Teams
- By telephone
- In person (Maidstone ME15)

I have capacity for both daytime and evening sessions and I'll do my best to arrange times that work around your commitments.

Here are some of the areas I can help with:
Anxiety & panic, low mood or depression, stress & burnout, grief, loss & bereavement, relationship difficulties, low self esteem and confidence, trauma & abuse, redundancy and work-related stress, identity & life changes, child or family related issues.

YOUR FIRST SESSION
The first session is simply a chance to for us to meet and see how it feels to work together. There's no pressure to share everything - just come as you are.

We'll talk about what's brought you to counselling and what you hope for, and I'll explain how sessions work, including confidentiality, fees and practical details.

If you'd like to ask questions first, I offer a free 20 minute consultation for new clients.
